Happy Valentine's Day! Today's fixx will be progressive house. Although many people (from what i've heard) believe that progressive house is repetitive and monotonous, the right progressive house can have a drop as sick as any dubstep or electro house. Check it.

Artist: Kaskade & Tiesto Featuring Haley
Song Title: Only You (Ken Loi Remix)
Genre: Progressive House
Description: Kaskade and Tiesto. Two names extremely well known in the house music scene. Ken Loi does an amazing job with this remix, creating a great progressive remix of the already great song. Haley's vocals are extremely smooth and soothing to the ears while Loi's synths and great beat create an amazing song.



Artist: Pryda
Song Title: Illusions
Genre: Progressive House
Description: Eric Prydz is another name which is well known in the business. Known for his huge hit, Proper Education, he has come out with a great progressive track in 'Illusions'. The song does not have much vocals at all, but that fact is overlooked by the sheer genius of his production. Definitely something to check out.



Artist: Matisse & Sadko
Song Title: Hi Scandinavia!
Genre: Progressive House
Description: Matisse & Sadko are relatively unknown but with this release they have definitely cemented themselves in Progressive House. Hi Scandinavia is a brilliantly produced track with a great lead-up and even better 'drop'. The synths are sick and the following beat is just as good. Together, they create a sickk song.

Song Title: The Monster
Genre: Progressive House
Description: This shit right here nikka? This shit right here? The song title tells no lies. This is definitely a monster. Progressive house at its best. The synths, the beat, and the production quality in general is ridiculous. One of the best progressive songs I've heard to date for sure.
