Hola, here are el songs.



Artist: Just Jack
Song Title: Basement
Genre: Electronic/Alternative
Description: I tried to find this song on youtube, but couldn't so I did you guys a HUGE favor and uploaded it myself. It may get taken down because it has copyrighted material but as long as you can view it, it's all good. Now, about the song. Just Jack isn't known as being too much of a DJ, more of a vocalist but this is definitely a piece worth listening to. The guitar and the synths in the background are a great combination and although the song has no vocals, it really is a great listen.




Artist: Handsome Boy Modeling School Featuring Rza, The Mars Volta, AG, and Tim Meadows
Song Title: A Day in the Life
Genre: Hip Hop
Description: Handsome Boy Modeling School is a collaboration between the producer of De La Soul, Prince Paul, and 'Dan the Automator'. This combination has come out with a variety of great songs, but this is definitely one of my favorite. The beat has an old school feel to it, and the all the rappers on the track really compliment that old school feel. Rza of the Wu Tang Clan is sick on this track and the vocal chorus that The Mars Volta adds completes the track, making a great hip hop collaboration.




Artist: Pin Me Down
Song Title: Time Crisis (Co-Pilots Turbulence Remix)
Genre: Electronic/House
Description: Once again a song that I had to upload to youtube because I couldn't find it on there. No thanks necessary. This is a house-ish remix of the original song, although it does have a heavy electronic feel to it. Pin Me Down is a collaboration of Bloc Party's guitarist Russell Lissack and singer Milena Mepris. The original is a good song, but I feel that this really is a great remix simply because of the feel it gives. I really couldn't decide whether this was more housey or electronic so I labeled it as both. Since I can't really describe it that well, check it out. It's a great song.




Artist: The Faint
Song Title: Mirror Error (Afghan Raiders Remix)
Genre: Electronic
Description: Once again, something I uploaded. To be perfectly honest, there isn't a HUGE difference between the original and this remix, but it has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' which I feel makes it 10 times better. I think that the layout that the Afghan Raiders used is much better, it is much more cohesive as a song and it just works better. Once again, not the most adequate description but let's be honest you're not looking at this blog for the descriptions are you?
