Artist: Spencer & Hill
Song Title: Dub Disco (Lucky Date Remix)
Genre: Electro
Description: This is definitely Electro at its best. The general tune is upbeat and the lead up isn't too short or too long. The drop at 1:30 is to die for. It's absolutely ridiculous and is sure to get everybody up and jumping. Not only is the electro absolutely amazing, but towards the ending Lucky Date have added a short dubstep bit which actually works perfectly into the song. Overall I would say that this is definitely a tune to watch out for in the clubs or pretty much anywhere where dancing is expected.

Song Title: Upon
Genre: Electronic
Description: After that last crazy electro song, here' some chillout music. When first listening to this it may seem like there's a lot going on and a lot to try and focus on, but forget trying to focus on simply one thing and embrace the entire song as it is. This is definitely one of those songs for a slow morning after a night out. Instead of Upon I would have suggested 'Recovery' as the title but hey, maybe thats just me. Definitely check out their entire album, which can be found on iTunes.
Artist: Jonny L
Song Title: 1 N 2
Genre: Drum & Bass
Description: One of my favorite DnB tracks. Not because it's mental or because the drop is absolutely grimey, but because it's simple and it works. There are very few elements to this song. There is the drum beat, the vocals, synthesizers in the background along with a synth lead which makes the song perfect. One can even hear a slight accordion that's been thrown in and once again, it works. If you're looking for dirty drum n bass this isn't the song. This is the opposite, it's cleeeean and it's soooo good.
Artist: Reks, Termanology & Krumbsnatcha
Song Title: Big Dreamers (Lawtown Remix)
Genre: Hip Hop
Description: I really honestly feel that there should be more hip hop artists like Reks, Termanology and Krumbsnatcha in the world today. Personally, I think that this is the direction in which hip hop should be going. Great beats, great lyrics and great flow. All together, you have a song that doesn't feel at all like commercial hip hop. You get a feel for old school hip hop, while keeping the beats complex and today-esque as well as the lyrics. Definitely check out more of Reks' stuff, the entire album is something to definitely get. 'Grey Hairs' is the name of the album and the way that Reks raps? You would guess that he has been in the hip hop game for a while and is definitely showing his wisdom.
That's all for today.
Peace.
