December 19, 2010

Due to popular demand (1-2 people) I'm creating this music blog. I'm not some indie hipster who will force you to listen to what I listen to, nor will I critique anybody on what kind of music they like. This blog is just to share some of my music tastes with whoever wants to listen. The idea of this blog is to post the songs I'm currently listening to or am obsessed with. They might have come out today, or they may be 15 years old. Either way, the plan is to post between 1 and 10 songs everyday on this blog. If you're interested, lovely. If you don't like the music I post? I don't care. Anyways some of the songs I'm currently listening to are:

Underworld - Scribble
Artist: Underworld
Song Title: Scribble
Genre: Drum and Bass
Description: This is by far one of the happiest songs I've ever heard. If you're feeling depressed and your pre-pubescent problems or Twilight-ish teenage angst is getting the better of you, then this is the song for you. The only lyrics throughout the entire song (basically) are "And its okay" and "You give me everything I need". What more do you need in an uplifting song? A great beat, which this song definitely has. Drum and bass fan or not, you'll like this song.

Torrential Pain (Feat Moocha) - Klute
Artist: Klute
Song Title: Torrential Pain
Genre: Drum and Bass
Description: Now as you can probably guess from the title of the song, its not all buckets of laughs and happy thoughts. The song itself isn't really depressing, it's more morose. What it is that has me hooked is Moocha's voice. Her voice is so different from anything I've ever heard that I just keep listening to the song over and over. It's haunting. If you want to listen to more of her stuff, you can visit her site here.

Both songs are Drum and Bass but not all songs posted here will be drum and bass, rest assured. Well that's all right now. Also if anybody wants to tell me about any songs, I am very open to broadening my musical horizons and listening to great new tracks.

Peace.
